Each moment of life is a gift of God. Psalm 39:4, NIV - Show me, O LORD, my life's end and the number of my days; let me know how fleeting is my life.
Living life in the light of eternity makes life valuable. Psalm 90:12, NIV - Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
What makes human life valuable? Human beings are made in the image of God. Genesis 9:6, NIV - Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made man.
Spiritual life is self-sacrificing. Luke 9:25, NIV - What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit his very self?
Spiritual life is living in fellowship with Christ and can be found only in Him. John 14:6, NIV - Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.'
